Too remote, need a car
Stayed here for 3 nights during August. The service was good on the whole. However in relation to the price paid the hotel was very expensive. The selection & the replenishing of food at breakfast was poor given that the hotel charges above €20. There were not enough staff at meal times. As customary in France an apperatif was offered but it took too long to arrive. Wine at meal times was also at the high end with a bottle of wine being €40 & above. The accomodation / room was well furnished & it was a novelty having a bath / wash basin down some steps from the bed area ( looking out to the pool) as well as a shower in the bathroom. To say the property has 4 pools is a bit flowery. Its basically one pool with water cascading from the kiddies area, to a fun area to a swimming pool.
Unique Quality: Food, wine expensive.
Too remote. Having looked at the site I had ssumed that it was walkable to Bandol or St Cyr. Not so, you need a car which means no stroll after dinner.
Evening entertaiment was poor. A musician would be playing as we went to dinner around 8pm but had gone by the time dinner was over.
Site has a golf course. Unless your a golfer I wouldn't recommend. Not value for money as far as I am concered.
