It was almost my first contact with a via ferrata and it was a fantastic experience. It combines the thrill of the adventure, the emotion of the climbing and the security, because you are constantly well attached to the iron ropes in the rock. The ascent is long (2-3 hours for us, with several stops), but you enjoy fantastic views of the mountains and the city, which are really nice. The descent is throth a trail (1 h aprox.) We rented all the equipment (helmet, ropes...) in the nearby town of Enbrun, in a sports shop, for 10 euros per day. I am quite sure that it can be rented to in BrianÇon.
