If you are loaded you can go into a beach club. Each major hotel has its own private beach club. The Martinez hotel's club is the largest in Cannes. You can get lunch at these beach clubs but expect to pay alot of cash.A simple salad will cost no less than 10 pound.I recomend you eating a hearty breakfast to fill up on to keep you going til tea time or take some snacks with you.

Next to Marineland you'll find this nice mini-golf parc. You play in caves beyond waterfalls and so on... great!!!!!
You can visit it alone or buy a combined ticket with Marineland (that's cheaper).
Feux d'Artifices - July and August 2005
by NiceLife
The Festival d'Art Pyrotechnique is an international firework display competition held each year over six days in July and August, to see who can produce the most "Ooooohhhhh"-generating eye-popping firework display.
The setting is the magnificent Baie de Cannes, 10pm, and each display is 25 minutes choreographed to a dozen or so selections of music pumped out through the mass soundsystem.
Expect, err, fireworks! Mouthwatering displays. Especially July 14th (Bastille Day - "Fete Nationale") to go with a bang all up and down the coast.

"What a delight"
This city of more star associations than anywhere else in Europe, due to its annual hosting of the internationally famous Cannes Film Festival, is also more approachable than some of the Riviera's other glam towns. A palm-lined boardwalk, pristine sandy beaches, and numerous boutiques ensure that anyone can sport the town's famous style. Be sure and walk the red carpet and view the numerous handprints dotting the sidewalk surrounding the Festival screening complex. It's as close as I could get to the real thing.
