My wife (who is pregnant) and I are going to Cannes at the end of March. Does anyone know of any good maternity clothes and/or baby shops in the area (there dont seem to be any good ones in Scotland)?

Cannes is full of art all year round.Art, museums,music, theatre, cinema,exhibitions,dance and festivals.On the 7-25 of January 2004 there is a shopping festival.There are variuos fashion shows and street entertainments and fancy meals in hotels.On the 12-23 May 2004 its the 57th Cannes Film Festival.
The old town is known as Le Suquet after the hill on which it stands. Back in the 11th century it become the property of the Iles de Lérins monks. They built a castle with a watchtower and Chapelle de Ste-Anne. The panorama at the top is breath-taking with the whole city below surrounded by the blue sea and the Lérins Islands. Following narrow streets down to the market of ForviIle and through the plane tree lined streets of Liberté, you'll arrives back at sea level.
Château de la Castre is the centre of old Cannes and has been dominating the hill of le Suquet since around the 12th century. It was built by the monks of îles de Lérins who owned the land, and soon after its construction a town around the Château developed. Today, the structure houses a museum (Musée de la Castre) which displays ancient artefacts from all over the Mediterranean basin. The gardens around the museum offer unobstructed panoramic views of Cannes.
Get your shades, lotion and sunwear ready if you are heading for the beaches! This place is really crowded during summer. It's even hard to find a place where you can settle down.
Not forgetting all the fun in the sun, you can also get glimpse of really beautiful bodies walking around topless (well, i haven't seen anyone really totally naked, but i was told it was supposed to be a nude beach)Great way of getting that perfect tan i guess.
