The hotel is basic and inexpensive but my room was hot and on a main road which meant fractured sleep. I also had a shared shower but on the positive side it is probably the least expensive hotel in Cassis. I would stay again for one night but no more than that. The staff only speak french and are rather detached, probably because they are running a hotel and restaurant at the same time.
Unique Quality: Heading westwards from the hotel there are nearby beaches and rocks for picnics and swimming, within easy walking distance. These are great places for picnics and not as busy as Cassis itself. Slightly further away are the Calanques. The first one at Port Miou is only 25 minutes walk away.
