This is the life!!

Here is the pool area we mainly had to ourselves. We found staying here was almost like having your own private villa. At breakfast we got talking with other guests and got tips etc of them of places worth seeing etc.One couple was from Bermuda and another Belgium. At night after going out we just came back and unlocked front door and then walked through communal area to our room.Do take a torch as road it dark.I felt special at this place and everything was top quality and it was well worth the price,140 euros or £100.

Unique Quality: When booking we called hosts and they were most helpful on phone and friendly.Feeling welcome and relaxed sure made this a great stay....Do splash out an extra 40Euros for the Yucca room as you get a nice patio area.It is worth it I can say.Room was also secure and there was a small safe in the room which we used.Mini bar fridge near pool was a good idea and I did actually buy a bottle of wine one night from Eze village and borrow bottle opener from next fridge to open it and took wine back to room to drink it on patio.I am sure owners do not mind as long as you eat/drink outside and do not dirty room up.Also we did buy several things out of their fridge too so I am sure it was ok...

Pool was the icing on the cake.

I highly recomend you treat yourselves to a stay here.We stayed 6 nights as our room was booked after that so we went to another bed and breakfast for 4 nights. When the time to leave came I did not want to leave as I was enjoying it so much.I liked the idea of just having breakfast when you were ready. Also a late breakfast could be taken upto 11am.On a couple of nights we bought a pizza back to our room and eat it outside which was nice.

Unique Quality: When we arrived as we arrived early(flight) we were allowed to leave our luggage at the bed and breakfast until our room was ready and we went and had lunch in Eze village and came back about 1.30pm to get into our room.We did get lost finding it as it was up a small road and we did not see a sign for the place. The turning was next to a small bar.Just up the hill from this bed and breakfast is the beautiful Park with loads of great walks.Just along the road were lots of picnic tables with wonderful views to the mountains. So if you like walking and nature and great hosts and luxury relaxing place to stay, go here.I give it 10 out of 10.

Our own private patio too.

This bed and breakfast had a really relaxing feel and everything was spot on.The breakfasts, the candles lit at night in the communal areas(hallway and small lounge area with books next to sunlounge). The windchimes and the music playing as you left and entered near the front door(quiet music).Papers were given at breakfast and Fred the host was happy to help with anything, directions etc.

Unique Quality: The pool was amazing and relaxing and this place just felt so peaceful and relaxing. At night we sat on out patio and watched the fireflies in the field next door and listened to the crickets. As this place was on a hillside we did not need air-con and it did not get hot at night. The temp was just right.I saw a fox several nights creeping along in field.Fred also was helpful as I do not eat or drink orange he got me fresh water at breakfast etc each day instead. This place is abit off the beaten path as there is not much to do at night, but if you want wonderful walks and peace and quiet and great service and quality, this is the place to go.I was very impressed with it and the slighty untidy decor in the room added to the rustic, trendy laid back feel of it and was no problem at all.

Wonderful views too from room

The pool area has shade and sunny spots and towels were provided here. After using a towel you just put it in a basket. The gardens around pool were lovely. We mainly had the pool area to ourselves as I guess most other people were out when we were in etc.Only the odd time did we see a couple of other guests.

Unique Quality: Once or wtice the owners were using the pool when we went round to it and they slowly left after a few mins leaving the pool to ourselves which I though was nice. Both the owners,Sylviane and Fred were really nice and friendly.Fred was the host and we did not see his wife much as she seemed to do behind the scene things. There were also a lovely friendly black cat called Tootsie and a huge black dog called Allblack. They were both quiet but friendly animals and did not cause any problems at all.

Sink was nearly as big as a bath

The bed and breakfast had wonderful gardens and a lovely pool area. There was a place to play petanque which we had a few games .The place was next to an open field with views to mountains. There was decking next to where breakfast is taken and a hot tub on the decking with a few chairs and sunloungers.Towels were provided for next to hot tub and pool area which was very handy.

Unique Quality: We went in hot tub a couple of times and it was really nice. The decking from hot tub leads down stairs to our room and the path continues past it to the petanque area and then onto the pool. The pool area had chairs and sunlongers and a sunroom with gym equipment and a sauna and a turkish bath. There was also a handy mini bar where we could buy drinks from and also snacks to purchase. We bought some wine for 12 Euros and lager and coke was 2.50 euros a can and a pack of 4 small tarts was 1 euro and crisps were 2 euros. It was nice having a swim and then having a cold refreshing drink.

Luxury bathroom

Our room had plenty of space and a huge walk in shower and the bathroom was very clean and trendy. We had fresh towels every day and the room was cleaned spotless every day. There was a bottle of water on arrival and it was filled every day after room was cleaned. We also had a hairdryer and a tv with a dvd player. We did not use it though as we sat outside relaxing sipping wine instead. We did use the tv to watch the news though on Sky.Our room was called"Yucca".

Unique Quality: We were given some nice toiletries in the room when we first arrived and there were fresh flowers in the room. There was a folder with helpful information in and several books to read too(French). In total there were 4 rooms and the other 3 did not have a patio. Our room was 140 Euros a night for the room and included breakfast each day.The other rooms were 100 Euros a day.The room was very clean and tidy and had a lovely fresh smell about it.Plenty of places to sit etc.Only negative thing was the cuboard for clothes was very small. But we did take quite a few things.

La Bastide aux Camelias

The bed and breakfast had 4 luxury rooms in total and we had room Yucca. It was decorated in a Japanese style and was very trendy. The finish was abit rough round the edges and the floor in the bathroom area where we hung our clothes(wooden floor) and lifted up and I kept tripping over it.The decorating was ok but not finished off that well. But it did not matter as the room was very comfy and I soon forgot about the finish of the decorating.Everything in the room was new and the bed was really comfy and the lighting in the room was romantic.

Unique Quality: We had out own private patio with a view across a field which had a horse in(no noise or anything from the field) and we had 2 sunloungers and a table and two chairs. There were a few plants etc in pots and we also had a umbrella if we needed some shade. The patio also came in useful for drying wet swimwear etc out and I also handwashed a few items which soon dried out here.

Luxury and relaxing.

This bed and breakfast is in a beautiful guesthouse near Eze(about 2 miles) and it is between Nice and Monaco and isabit off the beaten track but well worth staying at and very relaxing and special. It is set in the middle of a park called the Grand Corniche.

Unique Quality: The bed and breakfast is set up a road which is private and parking is provided for about 6 cars.Breakfast is served each day in the suntoom next to the veranda over-looking the garden.Breakfast is fresh fruit and bread and jams and yoghurts and cereals and other baked things(breads etc). The owner was there everyday for a quick hello and answered any questions we had about the area etc.We sat with other guests if they happened to be eating the same time as us on a long table.Breakfast was served between 8am til 11am.We just went to breakfast when we were up and ready about 9am.
