Could you please help me regarding who or what company is resposible for the upkeep of the amphitheatre?
I would be grateful for any help in my quest?
Re: Roman Amphitheatre
There is no “company”, but the city council of Frejus takes care and is responsible for the excavations and keeping the place. Work is done with INRAP (National Institute of Preventive Archaeology)
Best is to contact the head of Patrimony at the Frejus municipality

Travel Tips for Fréjus
Le Frejus Pass
The most economical entry to Frejus' Roman sights is the seven day Le Frejus Pass that is available from the tourist office in the old town area.
Adults are 4.60 Euro and children 3.10/ Should you need it, an extended version includes five local sites as well as the Episcopal ensemble for 6.20 Euro.
The tourist office is at 325 rue Jean Jaures and is open 9:30am-noon and 2-6pm Monday-Saturday year round.
This is a great place to pick up a free map of the city and begin your adventures.
Dazzling architecture on ... cemetries
The French honour their parted family members with amazing grave monuments and architecture. A view over the average cemetry in a town will leave you speechless, as whole houses are built to remind the once that have past away into another world.
Ever present refreshing water
One of the things that I was very happy about in the sunny and hot days in the towns and villages along the Cote d' Azur, was the fact that everywhere in town were fountains and sources. Once and a while one could refresh at a nice pump, fountain or tap-point and wash the sweat of your face. Frejus was not an exception, but here the fountains definately deserved some extra attention.
Basic First aid especialy things like Tcp Sunblock / After sun
First aid a lot of the medical products / brands you use in the uk may differ in france but my advice is to be prepared as sometimes the language barrier may complicate things.
Dont think it wont happen to you as it just might one day! Always pack a pair of Speedo type swimming trunks as there is a french law prohibiting swimming in bermuda shorts / shorts for hygene reasons however some places do not enfoce this law but is advised to be prepared. Again a Basic first aid kit should do if your taking specila medication i would advise you to take with you the tear of piece of your presciption as you will be able to go to a chemist and purchase medicine should you run out or lose it. just a digital camera unless your david Bailey. Extra memory card / s For the beach the usual ( hankechief socks n sandals ) why waht do you wear Lol
Many other ancient buildings throughout town
To really catch the spirit of Frejus, do not only focis on the two main items in this wonderful ancient town. Walk around and enjoy the atmosphere that hangs in almost all centre alleys, streets, places, squares and corners. Admire the old "unknown" buildings and taste history. In the picture for example is a very old church that is situated on the edge of a parking square where the French men also play their favourite game / sport: Jeu de Boules. It's just great to just sit and watch ... That's the real France, the real Frejus.
