LES BORIES
Les Bories
South of Gordes off the D2 is this large collection of dry stone huts. They have domed ceilings and look Neolithic, although none is older than the 1600's.

Charming, isn't it?
Any help on this wonderful dilemma would be appreciated! Stay in Les Bories in Gordes or Hostellerie de Vallon des Valruges in St. Remy. I am so torn by all that I have read about both towns, and I need to make a reservation soon. Thanks for your help!
I second Pedmar's suggestion. I know both places well and always LOVED going to St-Rémy, for the life and animation, shops, market, great Bistrot des Alpilles, and because there are places to see and things to do all around.
+ it's a small town and I really love that.
Gordes is a beautiful hill-top village.
Your choice might depend on whether you prefer lively small town or hill-top village.
I stayed one night at Vallon de Valrugues I think (at least it was on Canto Cigalo), great but I left early morning to be at the antique market in St-Rémy centre.
(I'm returning to St-Rémy soon and wish to try L'Hôtel Les Ateliers de l'Image which I found by chance.)
Never stayed in Gordes.
Bon voyage!
Thank you Pedmar and Alza - I am going to book this week!
you're welcome skg! let us know how you liked it :)
