Rudest Poeple in France
While the place is beautiful and decorated in a very mod-fashion, staying at la Gacholle was the lowlight of my five-week trip to France. The staff were not only outrageously rude but grossly incompetent. We saw this first-hand when we came back from a day of sight-seeing to find our bags and belongings GONE! They insisted we only had one night booked (incorrect) and were very hostile about "having to pack our bags because we did not do it ourselves!" It was by far and away the WORST hospitality I've experienced in my life. There are plenty of other nice, charming places to stay in Gordes, so do not stay here.
