Even if I wasn't an infidel, I still think I would have been tired of seeing cathedrals after playing a tourist for such a long time. Still, I really like the old church that sits atop the old town area of Istres. I am not sure of the age of the building, but the bricks on one side are worn so much that it is hard to distinguish the joining point of the brick and the dirt. The birds soaring around the top also add drama to the view, as does the map overlooking the tops of the houses and the lake.
