A Tiny Postcard Village
Lourmarin, whether your into touring, travelling, art, Photography or simply finding somewhere to hide, is a secret litttle place and quiet most times of the year.
Each street, in its twisting turning hairpinned way, carries an arty feel of watercolour painted houses with odd pastel paints on window frames and wierd little srt pieces nesting on the deep set windowsills outside.
Stairways to nowhere and rickety pathways that turn outside the village perimiters into semi tunnells that lead you to the greenery of the hills and surrounds.
Nested bewteen two hillsides and with a wonderful Norman styled church on ts perimiters, Lourmarin is architecturally scenic as well as being a Living Postcard.
If you ever pass close, detour enough to stay here for a while.
Secluded tranquility is never overrated.
