Two seaside towns in one

We stayed in a small village in the hills and Mandelieu was the nearest town of any size. It's actually two small towns which join together and the full name is Mandelieu La Napoule, the latter being the coastal area, which is where you'll find the railway station. From there it's quick, easy and convenient to go into Antibes, Juan La Pins, Monaco and right up to Italy in one direction, down to Marseille in the other direction.

There are plenty of shops, a very large Geant supermarket plus all the other facilities you may need.

"Enjoying the good life along the Cote d'Azur"

Watching along the Esterel coast and the bay of Cannes, Mandelieu-La-Napoule is a splendid situation to enjoy various views. Also the "Lerin"-islands are visible from the slopes of the castle or the kays surrounding the yaght-harbour. Here the rich of somewhat dubious origin used to live, though now-a-days it is a mediocre place along the magnificent coastline we know as the Cote d'Azur.
