Absolutely wonderful hotel in the centre of menton town, although really quiet and tranquil. Our room had a balcony which was lovely to sit and was very private. The room was air conditioned which made it really comfortable as it was still warm in the night even in October. The room had a fridge which housed the hotels drinks available for purchase but we used the fridge also. The room had no tea or coffe making facilities but we had taken a travel kettle so this was no problem. The ensuite bathoom had both a bath and shower over, and we recieved fresh towels every day. The room was beatifully clean and the staff made us feel very wellcome. there was a terrace on the top floor of the hotel (level 7 ) which gave beatiful views over menton. There were sun loungers on the terrace and even a shower!! There was an underground car park below the hotel and we were charged 5 euros per day which was excellent value as we could come and go in the car and not worry about parking and the safety of the car at night. The hotel was a stone through away from all the little quirky shops and about 10 minite walk to the train station. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as just outside, as you start to walk there are numerous little cafes where you can sit outside and take coffee and fresh croissants and pain au chocolat for about 10 euros for 2. We will definately return to this hotel next year.
