Can someone help me find bus information online (English would be nice) to determine schedule and cost to travel from Nice Airport to Roquefort-les-Pins on a Saturday. I would later be going from that location to Nice train station early Sunday morning to catch a train to Milano. Thanks for your help with this.

If that doesn't help, type NiceLife into your VT Search Window and check his transportation Tips for Nice. If that doesn't work, contact him via VT e-mail. He's our local Nice expert. 8^)

Why, coming to EZE VILLAGE (12 kilometers away from Nice only) and walking along its narrow, medieval cobbled alleys on 50-degrees angled slopes was an experience I'd never forget. If you can afford to splurge, why not spend the night in this medieval village? I know, I know.... it is unfortunately a very popular stop for tour buses.... BUT if you decide to stay here overnight, you will be able to enjoy the ancient village in the peace and quiet of the evening. Not a bad idea eh? You can pamper yourselves by dining on a terrace overlooking the lights of the Riviera... It can be very romantic! I know because I've tried it. :-) I know there are at least two hotels in the village.... one of which is called the Chateau Eza. It’s a five star establishment, so be prepared to part with some cash or hope your credit card limit is high! Most importantly, have fun.
Even though I heard about it beforehand, this modest American was a little shocked to find many of the women go topless at the beach! This is something that is so funny to me, because the unwritten clothing rules in France make no sense. Typically, women in France don't wear shorts. They wear skirts or pants. I made the mistake of wearing knee-length shorts when I took a walk around town and some people looked at me like I had questionable morals. So I guess showing your legs in a pair of modest shorts is shocking, but stripping down to your underwear in front of strangers at the beach is okay! Another one of those French things you just have to get used to! Ladies, make sure you bring some lightweight pants for walking around on hot days.
Cultural Tips: Again, the dogs! Keep in mind that the French don't mind letting them into restaurants. In the US, bringing a dog or cat (or any pet) into a restaurant is considered a health violation. So seeing a scraggly dog while you eat your sandwich might seem a little gross at first. Just another thing to get used to.
Cultural Tips: If you plan on doing any e-mailing, ask the Internet café employees if they have English keyboards before you sit down. To an American, the keyboard in France looks all mixed up. The 'm,' 'q,' and several other letters are in different places. This means it will take a lot longer to type out an e-mail--costing you precious francs by the minute!
The beach in Nice is fine stone made. There are the beaches belonging to hotels, and there is no easy access. But there are also city beaches with an easy approach of all wishing to be expiated. I walked from our hotel up to the first of such a beach and settled down on the towel. The temperature of air was about thirty, the temperature of water, probably, about 26 degrees.
Another bus trip, Route 81 from Nice Gare Routiere (not Sundays) , will take you twenty minutes to the magnificent Villa Ile de France of the Baroness Ephrussi de Rothschild, on the Cap Ferrat. Open to the public (charges) here you can wander through one of the most beautiful villas in the world, set in seven themed gardens, located in the centre of the peninsula that is home to the most exlusive and private addresses in all Europe.
