Great location
This 66 room hotel is situated in the heart of Nice new town, in a quiet street just off Avenue Jean Medecin. It is about 15 minutes walk to either the bus or railway station. To get to it from the airport, I took the Airport bus no 98 & got off at the stop Jardin Albert 1er. It was a 10 minute walk to the hotel.
My room was a good size, stylish & clean. It had air con & a room safe. The safe cost 2.50 euros per day.
A city tax of 0.90 euro per day is also payable.
Unique Quality: A buffet breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, this was of good quality. The reception staff were friendly & helpful too.
On the street near to the hotel are 2 cafes & a supermarket. However as the hotel is centrally located there are so many options to shop & eat within walking distance.
The hotel, its staff & location make it a great hotel to stay at on a city break to Nice.

Very helpful staff 24/7
Very clean rooms .....
Alot of hot water for shower.
Rooms are small, but if
your a European traveller,
you know that is normal.
Unique Quality: The hotel is only 1 block from the main downtown street, about a
10 minute walk to the Promonade that is along the ocean, a 10
minute walk from the train and bus stations, and about a 10-15
minute walk to the old town.
A supermarket is only a 5 minute walk away, and a Bakery / Pastry
Shop on 2 minutes down the street.

Basic Accommodation for a Short Break
Booked this hotel at the same time (and through the same website) as our flights - a very orange budget airline operating out of the UK. For a short break the hotel was well-located, staff were helpful and room, although very small, was adequate and clean. But not the kind of place you would want to stay in if you like to laze around and relax at the hotel. No lounge, no bar, no comfy chairs in the room. Only power point in the room was hidden behind a built in shelf unit and very difficult to get at.
Breakfast was a self-service cold buffet style and not to be recommended. Better to go next door to the cafe and have a well presented continental breakfast in comfortable and very clean surroundings for half the price.
Would I stay there again? Well for the price we paid (around £50 per night for the room) it was reasonable value considering all we wanted was a comfortable bed for the night. definitely a no-frills hotel. But next time I shall be looking to pay a little more in the hope of some more creature comforts.
There is no hotel parking but it is right next door to a large, underground car park where multi-day passes can be purchased for around 12 euros per day.
