Nearly two years on and I still have bad memories about this hotel. I was returning after midnight with my sister and mother. As we were about to enter the lift INSIDE the hotel a man wearing a motorcycle grabbed my mother's handbag. We were shocked but I ran after the man and he could not get out the door fast enouygh. We grappled with each other on the ground and the man jumped onto a waiting motobike with another man. We found my mother's handbag on the door knob.
The man behind reception did not intially want to call the police until my mother found motorbike keys in her bag, so we insisted he call the police.
When they arrived they took statement but said there was little cahnce of finding the guys.
The man behind reception said he too was afraid for his safety given what happened.
When I sent a letter of complaint to the hotel, saying there was no seucrity there, they told us that we should have been wary weven though we were INSIDE the hotel!
They did not ev en offer a free stay there again, not that we would want to stay there after what happened.
If you value your safety DO NOT stay here!
