Hotel de la Buffa
Unique Quality: On our last night in Nice, we stayed at this small hotel. The rooms were clean, if pretty tiny, and perfectly adequate for the price. English is not necessarily spoken here, but my atrocious French got us through OK--the proof being that the taxi we ordered for 7 AM to take us to the airport did indeed show up! Hotel de la Buffa is a good budget choice. We paid about US$60 per night (for two) in September 2000.

I'm going to stay in Cote d'Azur in the next week-end. I'd like to receive a suggestion where to stay: I'd like a room close to the see, anywhere in Cote d'Azur not expensive.

In Nice, try Comfort Hotel Roosevelt or Hotel de la Buffa. Both are good comfortable inexpensive options.
