Hotel Felix

This hotel is a trap.

The location is Ok, but the noise is constant and the service.... is terrible.
For 79 euros a night, I went up four floors of stairs to see a dirty room, with a dirty bed and carpet, without control air conditioning, broken fridge, and bathroom with a leaking pipe.

When questioning the manager, he demanded payment, and threatened to charge the full payment of the reservation....
I was to the Hotel Suisse ... that is a real hotel.

This property does not any stars, the room 12 is a nightmare. I have traveled to Spain Italy and France, and other destinations throughout Brazil, and this was the WORST hotel where I stepped.
Do not make that mistake.

The Felix hotel is a basic budget hotel located within walking distance to most things that may interest you in Nice.

The hotel is located on a cute walkway rue MassEna which is littered with cafe's and dining options - most are very touristy but great for people watching. The rooms are small but clean with individual bathrooms. The walls are on the thin side and if you're a light sleeper this may be an issue for you.

The owner is friendly and very helpful with whatever information you may need to venture around the area. Remember this is budget be prepared to forfeit some creature luxuries such as a bathtub you can stretch out in.

You will have to walk in to the hotel so if possible pack a suitcase with wheels.

Breakfast is included and we received our first 30 mins internet for no cost.

Unique Quality: Outstanding location. Helpful, friendly staff.

TIP: Make sure when you book, you ask what floor you are going to be staying on! They don't have a lift. Lucky us was on the top floor with very heavy bags :-)

Basic accomodation.

Unique Quality: Central to the mall area in Rue Massena, it was surrounded by a host of shops, cafes and restraunts.

A bit of a hike from the train station. Get a cab if you are catching the train or leave early.
