You can also try this site for all the buses in town.
The airport one should be the 23.

Re: bus times

by NiceLife

When you ask about the "last bus" I take it you are late in to the airport? The one euro local 23 bus from T1 only runs only until around 8.30 - 9.00pm The last Express Coach for the bus station in Nice leaves around ten to midnight.

Travel Tips for Nice

The Roman ruins

by goglobe

Just next to the Matisse Museum, there is an open air circular space used to be a people's gathering spot in historic/Roman times. I didn't expect to find such ruins in Nice, and was glad to pay a visit there, which gave me just a down-sized feeling of being in the Colosseum.

Carnaval

by Pavlik_NL

This Catholic festival is celebrated in many places in the world, but Nice holds a top position in extravaganza and colourfulness. Carnaval in Nice is amazing (that is ... most people say so). I would love to experience it once and also dress up like something tropical. In the Netherlands Carnaval is also celebrated intensively in the Southern provinces, but ... here the weather is still rather cold in February/March, while in Nice the temperatures are rising to pleasant levels.
Carnaval is a festival in which the people celebrate intensively, because after that the 40 days of fasting start before Easter.

Ironman Triathlon

by NiceLife

June 2005 - France's Herve Faure and Holland’s Mariska Kramer won the Nice round of the biggest endurance event on earth: Triathlon. Swim 2.4 miles for starters, cycle 112 miles for main course, and for dessert, run 26.2 miles! Even thinking about it left me exhausted and in need of a lie down.

I completed the London Marathon myself in under four hours, but that was in 1992 - an altogether more aerodynamic NiceLife - before I had the waistline extension and additional chins fitted. The mind boggles at the level of fitness required to do all three in a row.

This years Nice round was played out in over 30 degrees of sweltering heat. And the reward, for most, a T-shirt for completing it. Further heats in Monaco and around the globe, culminating in the World Triathlon Championship finals in Hawaii.

Ironman competitors featured among my fellow travellers on the return flight from Nice. I am suprised they didn't walk the thousand miles to England backwards carrying an anvil under each arm and then swim the Channel. This kind of fitness is not an afterthought or a fashion accessory like a trip to the gym - it's a way of life. They have my admiration.

At the confluent river Loupet...

by Tolik

At the confluent river Loupet Mardaric, the old village of Villeneuve-Loubet sits atop a little hill while the new city spreads out right to the Mediterranean.

Groceries - Monoprix #1

by al_mary about Monoprix

Great place to buy groceries in Nice.
During our stay in Nice, we often went
to Monoprix to stock up on snacks and
other goodies for the hotel room like:
Chips, cookies, soda, wine and beer,
fruits and vegatables ....
