I have booked 3 nights at Grand Hotel Le Florence in Nice, France and cannot find their phone number on their website.

Travel Tips for Nice
Making friends while studying abroad

As much as I was on the go during that trip, I did have the time to make friends. Brad studied French abroad with my group from George Mason university even though he went to V.M.I. (Virginia Military Institute). He was a football player on injured reserve. One evening, Brad's daddy was visiting him and he took us both out for pizza. I've kept up with Brad since then. He's married with 2 children. Sadly, Brad's daddy passed away about 13 years after this photo was taken.

backpack for all those new purchases wear comfortable sandals/flip flops for walking around. You don't want a nasty sock tan! Sun tan lotion is a must! Don't forget your camera! Nice is beautiful 24/7.
walking along the shore of st....

walking along the shore of st. jean cap ferrat. only about a 20 minute bus ride from the main bus station in nice. i was REALLY lucky to have just wandered/stumbled on the path. you get a beautiful view of east of nice and west of monaco. u get to walk along this path on the side of the cliffs overlooking the mediterranean. the the french villas are large and extravagant. its about a 2 hour walk around the island inlet. its simply so tranquil and peaceful.
Craving for chocolate?

Check out their website (in French) and drool! ;) Chocolate, glazed fruit, typical desserts in Province (calisson d'Aix, etc)... It was a gift from my father-in-law, so no idea of how much it was for a box full of chocolate...
