The only quality of this hotel, where we stayed in July 2007, is to be located in the center of Nice, close to Place Massena and the old quarters of Nice. The hotel advertises itself as having multilingual staff but the receptionist spoke very little French and, above all, was very unpleasant.
We were given room 206 (AVOID AT ALL COST) a cubicle where we had to manoeuvre carefully around the bed to get to the room's window. The TV was not opposite the bed as would be expected but screwed 2 meters high on a side wall. To watch it, we had to lie sideways on the bed with our head at the foot of the bed. Unfortunately, watching TV happened to be our main activity that night as the air-conditioning device would let out screeching sounds every 20 minutes and the room walls were so thin we could hear the next door guest snoring.
The minuscule bathroom allowed us nevertheless to have a cheap trip to the Niagara falls as
there was no shower curtain and no shelves to put toilet sets away so that everything got soaking wet, including the toilet paper.
To crown it all, when we checked out the following morning and complained about our misadventures, the receptionist, an obnoxious little brat, told me in a contemptuous manner, “well Madam, you are on the Riviera”, meaning we should be grateful for paying €94 for a piece of sh*t.
Unique Quality: I can't see any qualities to this hotel apart from its location near the town center
