The hotel rooms are basic, cheap and clean. You need to pay extra for Air Conditioning and car parking needs to be booked in advance (8 Euros). There is only space for three cars in the garage. The patron doesn't speak English - this does force you to improve your own French language skills. I would recommend this hotel to people on a budget, who need somewhere to sleep after a day's touring - at 50E - you pay for what you get - no added frills. It is a superb location for touring, putting you in striking distance of all the main attractions - Les Baux, Nimes, Arles, Camargue (salt lakes, Aiges Mortes, St Marie de la Mere, flamingoes etc), Marsailles, Isle-Sur-La Sorgue, Avignon .... more and more ....
Unique Quality: We had a room at the back of the hotel, which meant we were able to open the window at night. At the front, unless you had air-conditioning, you would need to keep your windows closed at night as the hotel is opposite a bar and it is noisy. If you can't use the garage at the hotel is there is limited free parking in Place Morgan, but not on market days ... also parking at Place CouCou (10.50E) overnight or 24 hours - but this is closed on a Sunday, so don't leave your car there overnight on a Saturday.
Directions: On the main Cours Carnot near the fountain. No parking at the front, but you can stop briefly for directions to the parking from the manger of the hotel.
