Good For Solo
Most hotels don’t have single rooms any more, so if you are traveling alone you have to pay for a double. But this one did have a single room for me – quite small and with a view of the air shaft, but well organized and perfectly suitable for my purposes, since all I did was sleep there and occasionally go online with my new WLAN device that I had finally acquired.
The WLAN connection, which in France is called WiFi for some reason, worked fine and did not cost anything extra.
I booked the room for € 50.00 per night, but when I arrived they had lowered the price to € 45.00, so that was all they charged me. Breakfast cost € 6.00 extra and was well worth it. They even had copies of the local newspaper for people to read at breakfast or in the lounge.
The owner and staff were very friendly, and were nice about storing my bicycle indoors over night.
The location (in the English meaning of the word) is great: 150 meters from the station, another 150 meters to the bike rental shop, two blocks from the Théâtre Liberté and not far from the opera house.

Directions: Walk to the left when you leave the station.
