Bonaparte Hotel Toulon

Good clean and comfortable room with tv and facilities for single at 52 euros low season. Halfway between train and ferry.

Stayed for 5 days in april 2007 with my girlfriend, for a bit too early spring holidays to spend.
The only bad circumstance was the weather that's still a bit chilly, but as a huge Toulon fan, I had such a georgeous time there.
This family-hotel ambience rules, the price is affordable, though it's not a cheap hostel price, but if You take this long trip it's ok, what You get for Your money is definietely worth it: provencal, frenchy interior designed rooms, simple but clean comfort. Card opening door, satisfying support from the registration desk, and it's in the heart of the town.

Unique Quality: To be honest, the hotel doesn't have REAL BIG unique characteristicsm but it's still lovely. Though it has no sea view, (but it's 2 minutes close to the Vieux Port by feet), the rooms have a bit of lack of light (from the room that we had on the 3rd floor) it's quite a normal, average but really satisfying place to stay at. If You're a purist Franco-hugger, and like to discover a lifestyle without tourist blinding unreal tricks, You'll be fine with this place.

NOTE, that around April, there's a great gastronomy-fair RIGHT IN FRONT OF the hotel! We had such a good time there almost everyday, first class, fresh made cheese, vine, pastis, olive oil right from the area!!!! Lovely!
