Our chalet for one week...
This time we were seven to go skiing, this type of accommodation, between the luxurious (but expensive) chalet we had last year and the usual tiny flat, was almost perfect. If we want to be picky, it would really have been perfect with a second bathroom…
From the picture, we had half of the highest (wooden) part of the big chalet, more than enough space for everyone in the living room and the three bedrooms.
Talking about price, this was still reasonable. However be careful about the week you chose to go on holiday, if we had rented the chalet one week later (but that was not possible), we would have only paid half the price. The reason is simply that the spring holidays would have been over in France (they are spread on several weeks, each region being on holiday one week at a time)
