The Big Bird
by NiceLife
At the Rond Point of Vence, near the bus terminus, visitors to Vence will be greeted by this striking large urban sculpture. Its definitely a bird, though I have yet to figure what its connection is to Vence. May be it was intended for somewhere else, or the local council picked it up going cheap on EBay, who knows
Medieval Splendor
by vivalasteph
Vence lies 10km north of the Mediterranean, perched atop a hill surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It's history dates back to the Romans, with evidence throughout the walled city and its environs. Today, Vence is a small, thriving town, with a beautifully preserved original city center filled with cafes, produce markets, shops, and galleries.
