Aime 2000 has an absolutely perfect location, right on the slope. You have the views to die for. There is "Spar" in the hotel so you can buy any groceries you want, a cinema in case there is no snow ;-), lots of bars, Intersport, and a cable car going from Plagne Centre comes right into the Hotel, straight to the corridor.
AIme 2000 is just huge and almost every elevator stops on different levels so you might even have a hard time getting into your level and of course finding your room there. The hotel has 5000 beds. Walking down the corridor you feel like you were on the huge ship, way below the water.

As Aime 2000 is a huge hotel with many corridors, you can actually use them as a partying spot. The party usually starts when somebody sits in front of the room and smokes (not to smoke in the room). More people come and join and the party begins.
To get to Aime 2000 from Plagne Centre you can take a cable car Telemetro. It works till 1 am so you can stay in Plagne Centre for the Apres Ski party and I bet you will find Telemetro very helpful then.
It also comes in handy when you go down from your hotel on the sleigh at midnight. But you better not trust French people that they will keep it open till 1 am and don't go down at last minute. They tend to close it few minutes before and there is no way they will let you in. The only way to go up is walking or hitch-hiking then.
