Perched atop a hill overlooking the Lac d'Annecy, the Basilica of the Visitation provides a nice vantage point of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Inside you'll find a large mosaic above the alter, several stain-glass windows, and two shrines to Saint Francois and Saint Jeanne containing wax models wearing their actual clothing.... or so they say.Bottom-line: Nice church, but even better view from the esplanade
