Le Dahu: Hanging Out Before the Haute Route

We didn't have a reservation here but found it out of necessity. The place we reserved didn't have anyone working the desk and the door was locked. We were tired after flying from Denver. Sooooo...

Although the place is a two star it was comfortable and the restaurant was good too. The staff was friendly and helpful and understanding of the Haute Route ski tour folks' problems. They let us stay a couple of extra nights when we couldn't get started due to avalanche danger and they let us store gear there when we were on the Haute Route.

Then they accomadated us when we got back in town.

Not too expensive, comfortable, nice restaurant and bar, friendly staff, friendly locals that hung out for morning coffee and evening beers.
