Hotel du Mail (or Le Mail): Better than it looks
We paid 240 FF in 1994 for a double room with ensuite bathroom. The room was at the front but we had no problems with traffic. Walkable from the train station.
It doesn't look much but it a good hotel and larger than you think. Also interesting for business people. The restaurant was VERY good. Do check the restaurant tip.
