Wide pistes, Great viewsChamrousse Skiing
"Great Family Skiing"
Most of these pistes are wide enough to ski without being run down. The roads are usually pretty cleared out getting there. The view from the top is very nice, the city of Grenoble and the surrounding valleys are laid out in front of you like a great panoramic photo. Being relatively new here, I am not the expert!
Well as the season went on the skiing only got better. Chamrousse is not the biggest by far but is jus the right size for me (being close helps)
Watch the Meteo and the skifrance sites for route information. Roads can be icy depending on the recent weather and dangerous with people putting on chains in the middle of the road.
