Les Sherpas
Although still expensive, Hotel les Sherpas is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in expensive Courchevel. It is awarded 3 stars but comes adequately equipped with everything anyone would need: a ski rental shop, a tasty restaurant, swimming pool, spa and proximity to a ski lift. Rooms are very cosy and all have terraces with views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is located some distance above the 1850 village centre, but it provides a regular shuttle bus back and forth. Otherwise, it is a good 10 minute walk, or a taxi ride. The hotel is charming, service is great and the ambiance friendly. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit (I stayed at les Sherpas in 1993 and again in 2009).
