    Living in Grenoble, I do not have any opportunity to try any hotels or hostels.
    The city center is close and easily reached either by foot or by tram.

    • I lived in this hotel for 3 months while looking for permanent housing in Grenoble. It is a great hotel, great rooms, breakfast every morning was excellent, great staff - though it does help to speak French a little bit if you can.

    This hotel is directly across from the train station, just look for the big blue sign that says TERMINUS, even a blind man could not miss it.

    The great thing about this hotel is that is so easy to find that when you find yourself blitzed from too many pina colada shooters at Barbarossa's, no problem, you will surely be able to find your way back here. (I speak from experience). Just hop on bus 34 which drops you off practically in front of the hotel. Or just take the tram.

    Best Western Hotel Terminus is a three star basic hotel with an excellent location near railway and bus stations in Grenoble. Despite the central location, the hotel is surprisingly quiet... Or I was there in a really low season.

    The rooms are very basic, not much amenities to speak off. Bathroom is equipped well, but shower curtain should be a compulsary accessory. The toilet seat is placed to a room of its own, as usual in France. I just wonder whether people find it unhygienic to touch so many doorknobs before you can wash your hands?

    All in all, the hotel is an excellent choice, if you are planning to spend only the nights there.
