I kindly ask you to inform me which is the speed for the TGV from Grenoble to Paris?

The TGV takes 3 hours.
It is approximately 570 kms between the centre of Paris and Grenoble.
And by my mathematics that is an average speed of 190 kph. TGV's run at a maximum of 300kph (180mph) where the condition of the track permits.
cubsur- I was hoping that Mihaela would use at least some of her brain powers to finish her homework rather than give her/him the full answer ;-)
Actually, the TGV runs at TGV speed only from Paris to Lyon-Satolas. On the last leg (about 130 km) the railway has not been improved to allow high speeds and I feel it should not be more than 120-130 km/h. Then you can calculate the average speed on the true TGV leg!

Paris gare de Lyon to Lyon Aéroport Saint-Exupéry (Satolas) is exactly 1 hour 53 minutes for about 440 km.
Lyon Aéroport Saint-Exupéry to Grenoble is exactly 1 hour 03 minutes for about 130 km. I was right when, as a wild guess, I wrote that on this part it should run 120-130 km/h.
You must find them out! Don't get me wrong, I'm not a kind of sexual psychopathic: the point is that in Grenoble there's this huge community of double-barrelled guns, always organizing kinky parties and they gave me one of most amazing experience I've had in my short life. check it. Them and their queen, la dauphinoise.....

Guadagnucci was born in 1915 in Castagnetola, a village close to Carrare. He followed the family tradition and soon worked on marble. In 1936, for political reasons, he seeked shelter in France. The 1968 Winter Olympic games in Grenoble required housings for the athletes and their coaches.
Maurice Novarina, a young architect that represented a modern architecture was chosen. He had to conceive 1,800 lodgings that should fit for the athletes and their coach but that should later be transformed into a district for social lodging, student apartments, home for young workers.
In order to make a "village look", he chose to build low buildings (4 levels) with wooden loggias and linked by footpath with a few 15 levels towers on the outskirts, in order to give enough lodging. There are collective services (schools, day nurseries, etc…) and free space so that it is not a "Grand Ensemble"

About 25 Km outside Grenoble, up a mountainside, or so it seemed. I was taken there by taxi, and we travelled through clouds, emerging at the peak, where there is almost nothing but a hotel.
But it is a great place from which to explore the area. In winter, you have the choice of downhill or cross country ski-ing, and in warmer weather, it is a pleasant walk to the Chartresue Monestry, where you can try the local brew before returning to you base.
