Head to the aerial tramway which connects both side of the river. Th tramway is visible along the river and freeway. I paid about 5 euros. Once at the top, you will have breathtaking views of Grenoble and all the surroundings mountains including the highest mountan in Europe, the mont Blanc capped with its eternal snows. A cafe that serves basic food and drinks is also available. I have seen a man demonstrating the skills of past carftsman in stone carving. Get high!!!!!! I mean...take some altitude and climb up those mountains around you (there's loads of them so it's your choice!) and look around...you'll see impressive and beautiful mountains and valleys...and let me tell you, you won't want to get down!!
This picture shows the valley heading South, with the Isere river running in the middle. What i miss the most about Grenoble is the sight of the snowy mountains on bright and clear icy cold mornings. Such a breath-taking and peaceful feeling of tranquility...Yeah, i really miss that.

Parcs & gardens : Parc Paul Mistral
by Klod5
