Dogs in a bag
In some of the small bars we spotted this small dog in a Frenchmans "Man Bag". Maybe he told the wife that he was going to take the dog for a walk and decided to head for the bar instead. The dog didn't seemed too worried about it anyway.

Rue Victor Hugo
What a fantastic street this is - shops galore selling everything you could possibly imagine! Beautiful little "Place" areas - this one had the most amazing statue that changes colour 7 different times. I took photos of every single one - this is just one of them.
Hotel de Ville
The Place de Terraux is basically in the center of Lyon. The square is dominated by the Hotel de Ville, or town hall. The building was constructed in the mid-1600's, but was destroyed by fire soon after. The current facade was completed in 1700. The square is a great place to stop for a snack and let the kids run around the dancing jets of water which shoot out from the ground. The bells of the town hall play every Sunday evening during the summer.
I live there !
"Lyon at night"
At nightfall, Lyon is illuminated with a thousand lights!
100 000 projectors illuminate 300 sites to truly highlight the city’s heritage and create an enchanting backdrop for night-birds.
You have to go in Vieux Lyon, the streets along by the Saône, Presqu’île and Croix Rousse and many other districts because they are all overflowing with sometimes surprising but always fascinating, magical places.
You can come here on the 8 december light fest, during which some of main buildings are illuminated differently every year.
As Lyon is registered as being in the Wordlwide list of UNESCO, you may imagine plenty of nice things to see and visit here.
Please when you will come to lyon, ensure you were on diet during weeks before, because you will not be able to avoid the restaurants here. I think this is one of the most important hobbies for lyon people.
I know, I am living here !
Avoid tourists restaurants : you will eat basics , not fresh foods, and in these places, people are not very kind. Prefer small places , typical, with old fashioned decoration and old guys drinking red wines at the bar, dealing about what is a good beaujolais !
