Central Lyon
This hotel is a mixed experience. They first put us in a room way in the back, I mean we walked through the kitchen, out of the hotel, and then back in to the 'annex" where there were 2 rooms without windows (shared light anyhow). It was clean and acceptable, but not much to write home about. The next night we swithced to one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. Room number 2. On the front of the building, which means to face the central square of Lyon, a great location. The room was BIG, had a non working fireplace, antiques, amazing parquet floor, high ceilings, it could have been Napolean's other apartment. It was a bit too close to the desk clerks desk, but not really a complaint. Stay here if you can get room #2. Rooms 1 and 3 and many of the others were fine for the price.
