lots of places to see but we found nothing here is that outstanding. so as be considered on of the best in france.
nearby in villefranche-sur-saone is a very nice chateau de bagnols.
also about a hours drive away is the little village of monternot . there is a pretty good chateau to visit. the chateau de corcelles.
try some of the local wines.
Please someone help, I am trying to remember the restaurant that i've been a couple of years ago. I stayed at Bagnol, drove at night to go to this restaurant so it is driving distance. I should say about an hour or so? could be more or less.
The restaurant was the only 3 star restaurant on Michelin guide. It was great experience and I can't believe I forgot their name!!
It was in really really small town. Outside of the building was just normal french looking, but inside was modern interior with hip plates and coolest menu. Their wine list was awesome too.
That is all i remember. I shouldn't have drank so much. I can't remember anything!

Are you sure it's Bagnol and not BagnolS ? I see 3 different BAGNOLS in my Michelin guide and one BAGNOLES.
Can you double check the spelling?

You are either referring to Bagnols or Bagnols-sur-Ceze.
If you mean Bagnols-sur-Ceze, the closest Michelin 3 star restaurant is perhaps "Pic" in Valance.
If you are referring to Bagnols (north of Lyon), there is either Paul Bocuse in Lyon or Le Relais Bernard Loiseau in Saulieu.

It is BAGNOLS. I stayed at Chateau de Bagnols then drove to the restaurant.
The restaurant was packed with stylish good aged people, The chef gave me the tour of his kitchen too.
I don't think the restaurant was a part of hotel. it was individual restaurant. any idea?
