Lyon is the food Capital of France, and therefore probably of the world. Not going to a 'bouchon' while there is a crime! Typical restaurants known as 'bouchons'. Loads of pig specialties. The cheeses (St Felicien and St Marcellin) rank among the best. Beaujolais wine has been deemed 'the third river of the city'.
