What to bring on your trip to Lyon
by Natrix
Lyon has a rather moderate, continental climate. There's sunshine from April till September, but it can get really cold and rainy in winter! Changing foreign currencies is not so easy in Lyon, as the banks usually don't do it and there's only few places to change money (for example AOC near the opera, Rue de la Republique). You can get cash from cash-machines though.
Superb French restaurant
by tomerik about La Nef Des Fous
Great French restaurant in Vieux Lyon. Superbly decorated restaurant in ancient style over two levels but still small and cosy. The cuisine is French with a wide variety of meat and fish along with local specialities. Frequented by locals and hopefully it will remain as a "hidden treasure". Favorite dish in a French restaurant ? C'mon, everything on the meny is delicious!
