Location, location, location!
This was probably the classiest hotel we stayed in on this trip ... it is very modern, very quiet, and wonderfully located on the place des Celestins, near the beautiful theatre. Excellent bed, great bathroom. I believe our double room was 84 Euro for the night. There is a secure entrance -- you must be buzzed in by the desk. This concerned me at first, (I wondered if the neighborhood was particularly risky!) but was just their own security set-up. Parking in the place des Celestins (under the actual place) or under place de Bellecour was an additional 18-20 euro (at the parking facility).
