Is it possible to buy a bicycle (preferably used and cheap..) in Lyon? If so, any recommendations where?

In Lyon we have city bicycles for rent that are very cheap and more than 300 stations for them in and around the city.
At Decathlon at the Centre Commerciale de la Part-Dieu you can get a new bike for 100€. Otherwise you can try to get a used one ... However, with the Velo'v-Sytem (www.velov.grandlyon.com, I've described it in my public transport tip) it's not necessary to buy one.
The Festival of Lights is probably the most popular as well as the most established event in Lyon occurs on December 8th. Lanterns adorn balconies and windows and streets a full of performers making the event quite a visionary display. Different events are organised in the different quarters. The Festival of Lights began around 150 years ago at the time when statue of the Virgin Mary was erected on Fourviere Hil and unveiled.
En plein coeur de Lyon face à la cathédrale Saint Jean, le cadre du Petit Rabelais est très agréable et touristique. A l'extérieur, la terrasse se situe sur une zone piétonne, et l'intérieur semble toujours ensoleillé grâce aux tons clairs de la pièce. Mise à part la traditionnelle cuisine lyonnaise (gâteau de foie, saucisson chaud et quenelles) l'une des spécialités du chef est le flan de thon et sa fondue de poireaux. L'accueil est sympathique et l'apéritif est offert tous les soirs jusqu'à 20h.

On the Place du Change are two fine buildings. One called the Loge du Change was created by Soufflet between 1747-50 with engaged columns on its upper floor where there also are Ionic capitals. It has been a Protestant church since the beginning of the 19C. Opposite across the square is the 15C Maison Thomassin with a facade partly in 14C style with mullioned ogee bays and Gothic arches plus coats of arms. Not far off is the larger Place du Gouvernement with sturdy buildings. At the end of rue Juiverie a steep set of stairs leads up onto the Fourviere. In a nearby building within an inner courtyard, a building has wide galleries.
Lyon is the capital of the french Gastronomie! Various of "petits bouchons", which are typical local small "restaurants lyonnais".
Lyon, 2nd biggest city in France, is a student town, but also big chemical town, hopefully industries are outside the town!
Lyon is wonderful located, 3 hours to main big ski resorts, 3 hours to the beach in mediteranean mer, and 2 hours by TGV from Paris!
The old town is very charming!
Lyon has one of the largest european shopping center: La Part Dieu. Have a walk, you'll be happy!
