Montelimar Hotel
Stayed at this hotel for 4 days in April. It's well located on the main street but the rooms are set back from the road. As you drive in it has a typical French rustic charm about it with its central courtyard offering private parking which is secured at night. My first room smelt of stale tobacco and the hotel doesnt have non smoking rooms but I was able to change to a less odourous one. The rooms themselves are dated especially the furniture and the shower was just a curtained of corner within the small bathroom (no bath) but was practical. The hotel does offer wifi for a one off charge of 2 Euros but which you have to log in again after 1 hour. Breakfast was very minimal consisting of croissants, baguttes, cheese, yogurts, cereal and hard boiled eggs. The rate was 50 Euros + 7.5 for breakfast. There is no evening meal offered but like most French towns there's a wide variety of resturants to choose from within 5 mins walking distance. Overall this hotel is ok for a couple of days but I was staying in Montelimar for 3 weeks. I looked at the hotel Relais Empurer but on appearance alone couldnt recommend it so spent the remainder of my stay in the Kyriad - review to follow.
