Right in the heart of th Portes du Soleil area, it is an ideal point from which to set out and dicover a wealth of possibilities.The resort has kept the appearance of a village from another time : wooden façades, carved balconies and slate-covered roofs.

Nearby is Lac Montriond, a favourite with tourists and locals alike as a naturally formed lake used for recreational boating and swimming. In a beautiful setting, it has a couple of restaurants overlooking the water.

Summer holidays in Morzine

At the time of my winter experience in Morzine last january I thought it should be fun to compare winter and summer landscapes and make up my mind to which season goes my preference. So I decided to go back in june this time. And guess what is the result ? As I love sun, flowers and hiking....yes ! it's definitively summer

Even the bees prefer summertime.
Honey bees are truly wondrous creatures and this men were as active as the bees were, although I thougt I landed on another planet.

The bridge over the Drance river in the old city centre. Compare it to the picture below. Same place, same time, other season.

And a difference of 40° with the picture above. You can see it, but can you feel it too ? I did....

Far away from the stress of daily life, no traffic jams, no crowds, no ringing phones, no yelling boss and.... no rain. Life is great !!!!

High mountain pastures filled with thousands of flowers. Lay down on your back and admire..... listen to the birds and the bees..... and dream away.....
