Hotel Igloo

The Hotel Igloo is a clean friendly place to stay in the Alpine town of Morzine. We had a twin room with a balcony looking out over the ski slopes. It only offers B&B, but there is a kitchen and dining room - although with the wide range of restaurants in Morzine you'll not be tempted to use them much.
We booked with Crystal as part of a ski package, but the hotel also takes bookings from independent travellers.
The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy. We only had one disturbed night when a group of teenagers fell out and had a screaming match at 2am, another couple in our group sufferrred when a party started next to them at 5am.

Unique Quality: Its key selling point is its location. Just on the edge of the town centre its halfway between the two makor ski lifts, Pleny and Super-Morzine - both are just a short walk away. They have a ski/boot room for equipment and an endless supply of hot water for baths to soak away the aches from a day on the slopes.
Being in the centre of town there is also easy access to the restaurants and shops.
Breakfast is continental, but very good - fresh bread and croissants with jam and a choice of hot drinks. You can always fry up some bacon and eggs if you fancy something more like home...
