Cascades du Sautadet
When you are in the nieghbourhood of Orange and you don´t want to swim in the crowded Ardeche-river or in the swimmingpool of your hotel or camping, you have to visit the very special Sautadet-cascades. At the south-side of the little village La Roque-sur-Cèze, at the western bank of the Rhone-river, you find a very rare canyon, where only the local people come. It´s a wonderful experience to swim between high rocks and in very clear water.
Route:
Coming from Orange - cross the Rhone-river towards Pont St. Esprit. - Go southwards to Bagnols sur Ceze (N86) - Take the D980 towards Barjac. - At your lefthandside you´ll see the plates La Roque s. C. - Follow these and you´ll reach the Cascades automaticly.
