I would like to know what I must see when I go to france. I am very excited, and will have only 8 days to see it all :) What must I see?
You won't miss anything in Pau! It is a small city in the mountain feet! Pau by itslef is not interesting but you can go to the moutains, cross the border to go to spain and the best: go to the "pays basque". It is a area partly in Spain and partly in France with is own culture and their cities are really lovely (Biarritz and so on). What do you really want to do during these 8 days and when is it?

Aurelie is right, Pau is small and it wont take you long to see it all. You might want to consider hiring a car and explore the surrounding area as well. Lourdes is close and so is Biarritz and the coast. Depending on when you come you might be able to go skiing in the mountains. Have a look at the Pau website for more info - www.ville-pau.fr

Pau is such a delightful French town. The people are very friendly and pleasant. The food is divine and the scenery is breathtaking.
The chateau is the highlight of the Pau. It is stunning as most French chateaus go and the grounds are incredible. I spent one of the most enjoyable afternoons of my life just exploring the gardens and grounds.
The view of the pyrenees in Pau is breathtaking. The people areso warm and friendly and the hikes arevery calming.
