Eat a Reblochon

The Reblochon is a cheese made with cow milk.
In days of old, the tax to church was paid in kind. A tax clerk went to attend the cow milking. The cunning farmers stopped milking before the end and when he was off, they continued (in local language : ils reblochaient). So they obtained a fat milk they used to make a cheese.
The Reblochon is a soft cheese very pleasant and not very tasteful.
It can be eaten with bread and Savoy wine at the end of the meal or melt on baked potatoes (Tartiflette).
Not diet, sure....
Thones in Summer

"The capital of Aravis"
Thones is a charming little town at the bottom of Aravis Mount, in the Alps, at 3 km from Annecy.
During Winter, the visitors come to ski in the mountain nearby (free shuttles bring them to the pistes).
In Summer, they enjoy walking, riding a bicycle or bathing in the neighbor Lake of Annecy.
