Let it snow!
I was trying here to demonstrate how deep the snow was, unfortunately the person who took the photo thought the mountains behind me were more interesting. In hindsight, I think they were right.
It was -48 deg C wind chill and -27 deg C actual temperature! I have never seen so much snow in my life. Needless to say I didn't take that many photos as my camera was severely unhappy with the cold and insisted the battery was dead. Of course it was lying to me and was perfectly happy once I took it inside.
These icicles were on the chalet nextdoor to ours and captured my imagination repeatedly. Cool, huh?
