General information
I am going to be working in Val d'isere for 5 months and any information on the resort would be helpful like how cold does it get? I`m there from Dec-May. What is there apart from the skiing to do in the resort? Does anyone know if there is a good hairdressers? Is it expensive to shop there? Any advice at all would be helpful, thank you

Try the http://www.natives.co.uk website - this has information for seasonal resort workers in various French ski resorts. All ski resort food is expensive - if you have access to a car and can drive out of the resort to shop, prices are usually cheaper. I think you will find 'partying' is a major thing people there do apart from skiing ;-)
